Front page  /  Services

Nine services, and the specification each one is held to.

Most agency service pages are a list of nouns. This one tells you what each service produces, what it costs to run, how long it takes and when we would advise you not to buy it.

01

Editorial link building

The core service. Manual outreach, one editor at a time.

We pitch a named editor at a publication your buyers actually read, with an angle that fits their beat rather than ours. Our staff writers produce the draft, your nominated approver signs it off, and the resulting link sits inside the argument of the piece — not in an author bio, not in a footer, not in a "further reading" dump at the bottom.

Every candidate domain must clear the eleven checks published on the front page before a single email is sent. In practice roughly seven in ten fail, and each rejection is logged with a reason code that appears in your monthly report.

This is the service that does the structural work. If you buy only one thing from us, buy this one.

Output
6–20 verified contextual placements per month, depending on tier
Lead time
21–40 days from pitch to live URL
Minimum standard
≥1,000 organic sessions/month on the referring domain; topical overlap scored before outreach
Market context
Guest placements average $220–$609 across the industry in 2026
Not for you if
You need results inside eight weeks. Nothing here publishes that fast.
02

Digital PR & data stories

The only service that earns links outreach cannot buy.

Somewhere in your product telemetry is a number your industry has been arguing about without evidence. We find it, verify it, package it as a study with a published methodology, and take it to the journalists and analysts who cover your category.

Where the data does not exist internally, we design and run a panel survey instead — typically 300 or more qualified respondents, which is the point at which trade press will treat a finding as citable rather than promotional.

The economics are different from outreach. A study costs more up front and then keeps earning for the better part of a year without further spend, which makes it the highest-return single line item on most engagements.

Output
One story per quarter on the Standard and Category tiers
Lead time
5–7 weeks from data access to launch
Includes
Analysis or survey design, report page, press kit, pitch list, coverage log
Secondary output
Unlinked brand mentions and analyst pickup, tracked separately
Not for you if
You have neither usable product data nor budget for a panel
03

Linkable asset development

Built against measured citation demand, not a brainstorm.

Benchmarks, calculators, free micro-tools, glossaries, templates. The difference between an asset that earns links and one that does not is almost never execution quality — it is whether anything in your category already gets cited for that job.

So we start from the evidence. We find the assets your category already links to, count how often and from where, and build the version that is missing. If nothing comparable earns links, we say so and spend the budget elsewhere.

The asset is yours. It stays on your domain, keeps earning after an engagement ends, and does not stop working when the invoices do.

Output
One asset per quarter on the Category tier
Lead time
3–10 weeks depending on complexity
Includes
Concept modelling, build, copy, on-page structure, launch outreach
Best fit
Smaller budgets. One good asset outperforms four months of thin outreach.
Not for you if
Three competitors already own the same asset and rank for it
04

Niche edits & broken link recovery

Two jobs that share a method: work with pages that already exist.

A niche edit places your link inside an article that is already indexed and already receives traffic. Because the host page has existing authority and crawl frequency, it tends to register faster than a fresh guest post. We only buy insertions where the surrounding paragraph makes the link genuinely useful to a reader.

Broken link recovery is the same instinct pointed at decay. We map the dead resources your category still links to, then offer the publisher a working replacement — yours, where it genuinely fits.

We cap insertions at roughly a third of monthly volume. A backlink profile made mostly of edits reads exactly like a backlink profile made mostly of edits.

Output
3–8 per month, blended into the editorial programme
Lead time
7–18 days
Pre-check
Host page must already rank and receive verifiable traffic
Market context
Link insertions average around $141 industry-wide in 2026
Cap
≤35% of monthly volume, by policy
05

Category & comparison placement

The specifically SaaS service, and the one most agencies skip.

Your buyer does not search your brand. They search the category, then "best tools for", then "alternatives to" whoever they trialled first. Those pages belong to publishers, and getting into them — accurately, and high on the page — is a placement problem with its own workstream.

We audit every round-up in your category, pursue inclusion where you belong, and file correction requests where an existing listing is stale or simply wrong about your product. That second half is unglamorous and frequently the fastest win available.

It also produces revenue independently of rankings. A listing read by twenty thousand operations managers generates demo requests whether or not it moves a single position.

Audit scope
60–200 round-ups mapped per category
Actions
Inclusion outreach, listing corrections, position improvement, new round-up seeding
Market context
Paid inclusion typically runs $350–$750 per round-up
Disclosure
Every paid placement is labelled as such in your sheet
Measured on
Referral demo requests, reported separately from rankings
06

Expert commentary & brand mentions

Cheap, unpredictable, and increasingly worth the trouble.

Journalists working to deadline need a quotable specialist. We put your people in front of those requests, brief them properly, and handle the follow-up. Sometimes the result is a link; often it is an unlinked mention with your company named as the source.

We count the unlinked ones anyway. Answer engines lean heavily on a shortlist of publications they treat as reliable, and being named in that shortlist raises the probability that a model mentions your product when someone asks it to compare the category. That effect is real even though no PageRank changes hands.

The constraint is not budget, it is response time. If nobody internally can answer a query within a few hours, this service quietly stops producing.

Output
Variable — typically 2–6 placements per month once running
Lead time
Days, when it lands at all
Requires
A named internal expert who can reply within four hours
Also produces
Unlinked mentions and analyst awareness, logged in your sheet
Not for you if
Every external statement needs three days of legal review
07

Backlink audit & profile repair

Sometimes the correct first quarter is subtraction.

When a site arrives carrying three or four years of previous agency work, we classify what is already there before adding to it. Every referring domain is categorised, footprints are clustered by host, template and outbound pattern, and the anchor distribution is mapped against where it should be.

What comes out is a removal list, a disavow file and an anchor rebalancing plan. On roughly one engagement in five, the honest recommendation for the first quarter is to buy nothing at all and clean up instead.

That is an uncomfortable invoice to send. We send it anyway, because acquisition stacked on top of a damaged profile is money spent holding a position rather than improving one.

Deliverable
Full domain classification, footprint clusters, removal list, disavow file, anchor plan
Duration
2–4 weeks for the audit; a quarter if remediation is needed
Included
In every tier, run before acquisition begins
Ongoing
Weekly recrawl of every placement we have delivered, for 12 months
Available standalone
Yes — as a one-off audit, no retainer required
08

Competitor link gap analysis

The document that defines the whole engagement.

Take the four URLs currently outranking your money page. Pull every referring domain each of them has. Pool them, remove duplicates, subtract yours. What remains is the gap — usually somewhere between forty and a hundred and twenty domains for a mid-competition SaaS category.

That list is not a nice-to-have; it is the scope of the work. Everything we do afterwards is an attempt to close it, ranked by how likely each domain is to link to a company like yours and what it would take.

We deliver it in month one as a spreadsheet, not a slide. It is yours to keep whether or not you continue with us, because you paid for the analysis.

Deliverable
Ranked gap list with likelihood, estimated effort and route for each domain
Lead time
7–10 working days from access
Refreshed
Quarterly, as competitors acquire and lose links
Format
Live spreadsheet, permanently open to your team
Free version
A single-page sketch is available on request, before any contract
09

Anchor strategy & placement monitoring

The part nobody sells and everybody needs.

Before the first pitch goes out, we model what your anchor text profile should look like twelve months from now — branded and naked-URL anchors carrying the majority, partial-match filling the middle, exact-match kept deliberately scarce. Then we report against that model every month rather than discovering at month nine that the profile reads like a keyword list.

Monitoring runs alongside it. Every URL we deliver is recrawled weekly for a year. Removals, no-follow flips, de-indexations and 404s are flagged within seven days and replaced without an invoice.

None of this is glamorous. All of it is the difference between a profile that compounds and one that quietly leaks.

Modelling
Twelve-month anchor distribution, agreed in writing at kickoff
Monitoring
Weekly automated recrawl of every delivered placement
Alert window
Breakage flagged within 7 days
Warranty
Replacement at no cost for 12 months from publication
Reporting
Live sheet plus a monthly written review
A laptop, notebook and coffee on a wooden desk

How the nine fit together

Most engagements use three of these, not nine

The specification is per service so you can hold each one to its own numbers. We will tell you which three your gap actually needs before you buy any of them.

What this costs

Rates are published, not negotiated over three calls

Tiers run from $3,200 to $14,000 a month depending on which of the nine services are in play. The full breakdown, and the 2026 market data to calibrate it against, is on the front page.
